So...hi there. Sorry I've been neglecting this bad boy. Time...priorities...school stress. You know. But I think of random small sh*t all the time. And I'll try to be better about posting the quickies.
Here's one for you...besides the fact that they call math "maths" (yes, I've tried to explain it's like deer or fish but it hasn't changed anything)...I learned a few weeks ago that they call trapezoids "trapeziums" - for real! I had to look up how to calc the area of one (which was listed under 7th grade math, I think, oopsy)...and noticed on the aussie website that what I'd only heard before was in fact spelled right before my eyes on a fairly legimate looking website.
Trapezium. It sounds like a new prescription drug...or an odd shaped atrium...or a gymnasium dedicated to trapeze acrobatics.
