crunch time

Oops I did it again...stayed up all night for an assignment. I can't remember if I officially did this last semester...but it happened Sunday night. It was for an assignment for my Building Energy Analysis class, and I kind of went above and beyond, and was particularly OCD about it, but I used the house that I'm working on with Michael as my case study, so I'm sure we'll show it to the clients, too, so added reasoning for my madness.

It turned out to be 41 pages! Ooooo-snap!

The main report was (7) A3s [11x17s] and the Appendix was the remainder, in A4s. Have to say - I'm diggin the international paper sizes. Makes so much sense. America, let's get on it!

Still undecided about the metric system. Granted, I completely understand its grace and logic...and I think we should've switched over a long time ago. And honestly, I think most people could handle it. But I do have onlineconversion.com opened just about every time I'm on the 'puter...thank goodness for the internet. I'm definitely at the point where I feel I can't live a life to the same quality I've gotten used to without it.

Two more assignments to go! ALL of my photography shizz is due this Friday by midnight (though really she'll pick it up Saturday morning I think, so I may push that timeline, sadly).

Last project is a case study on an existing sustainable building for my last 'core' class...I'm going to use one of Michael's shnazzy commercial projects in Double Bay (a pretty fancy 'hood here).

Almost done w/Semester 2!
